When you password has been stolen or changes there is not allot you can do to get your account back but you can try the following:

1. Go to http://my.yahoo.com when there click the i forgot my password and when it asks you for you info fill it in once this is done check your email for your password...

If you forgot your information or they have changed your information then this will not work.

2. If you used a email account at sign up check the email and it should contain a email from yahoo saying your password has been changed and it will have a IP number at the bottom take this ip number and contact yahoo telling them that it been changed they will deal with the situation and give you our account back.

If you have no email it means you 1 used the yahoo email address on that account or they was smart enough to change the email address in which case your account is gone for good.

OUR TIPS

1. Be careful of accepting files of people you don't know or don't trust as this is the biggest way people steal your passwords.

2. Do not give your password out to anyone there is no reason for you to give anyone you password.

3. Do not sign your name or password into any other site other than yahoo web sites allot of people create fake yahoo sites which are hard to tell from the real site that steal your info once you enter it pay close attention to the url if it does not have the http://yahoo or www.yahoo in it then do not sign into it.

4. When making your password make it as hard as possible to guess or crack make it at least 12 letters long with both uppercase and lowercase letters include some symbols and numbers too.
