It seems Yahoo! are doing some changes to there servers which has caused 3rd Party Chat Clients to stop working correctly it takes forever to join a chat room which causes most chat clients to time out so you need to try logging into the room at least 10 or 15 times before it will actually join the room!

This does not seem to effect Yahoo! Messenger itself most likely cause it using the new servers and protocols and knows what changes have been made lets hope this is just a Yahoo! glitch and that Yahoo! are not trying to cause issues for 3rd Party Chat Clients!

YAHOO HAVE FIXED THIS

Allot of Y!mLite users are asking what has happened to Y!mLite now i don't know the full story about what has happened but here is what i do know so far.

The Y!mLite site (http://ymlitechat.com) was hacked using some kind of exploit the person who hacked the site then altered the update file which caused users of Y!mLite to be prompted with a update which would cause there pc to make a noise from the main system speaker it would then install the YahElite client and from what i heard some form of trojan.

The creator of Y!mLite then took the Y!mLite site down to stop any more people getting the trojan and said he was giving up on the client because of it but then i think he released a update on the Y!mLite Forums (http://ymlite.us) until he could get his site sorted out which was ok for a few days but then the hackers targeted there forums and now the forums have taken down!

DUE TO THIS THE CREATOR OF Y!mLite HAS DECIDED TO STOP WORK ON THE CLIENT BUT IS WILLING TO PASS IT ALONG TO SOMEONE ELSE IF THEY WISH TO TAKE IT OVER AND WILL HELP THEM OUT IN ANYWAY THEY CAN SO IT MAY MAKE A COMEBACK MORE INFO ON THERE SITE http://ymlitechat.com
